Folkies We Know & Recommend:

Courtney Robbins our bestest music buddy. blistering guitarist. she lives in our RV, and can often be seen at our shows. she likes us a lot. it's mutual.

Pete Ekstam wicked fingerpicker and all around nice guy. the master of our technological universe (aka- our website stylist). great minnesotan accent.

Namoli Brennet wonderful singer/songwriter from Tucson. we love crossing paths with her.

Eric Himan Kick ass singer songwriter out of Oklahoma, high energy, low maintenance music.

Behind the Scenes:

Twilight Train Technologies mastermind behind this here website. very user-friendly for nomadic, technologically impaired folks like us. Pete Ekstam is the man.

BENT Seattle's queer writing institute founded by our hero, Tara Hardy. not only influenced both Joe and Ingrid in their writing, but also continue to come together as a community to lift us up and support us. (even if they don't like folk music all that much.) we heart bent. we ARE bent.

 Queer as folk music

Tania Westby amazing photographer. she did the photos for our CD artwork, and a lot of our promo material as well. a very sweet lady to boot.

Malamute Music Productions beautiful studio in Seattle where we recorded "Boxes & Bags". aesthetically pleasing with wood floors, multi-faith idols for inspiration (including Jimi Hendrix). neverending tea supply. Walter Maenhout was the recording engineer -- great guy, gentle spirit.

Michael Connolly a genius of too many mediums to list. but he mixed our album, plays 15 different instruments, and writes hilarious novelty songs. one of our best friends. one day, we will steal him from his stable home and life and take him on tour with us.

Josh Estafen sound-god that mastered our CD. Ingrid's (soul) brother. professional sound engineer.
